Question:

Our Rogue has continuous variable transmission. Is dolly towing ok? We are hoping to tow behind a Class A motorhome.

I've got an answer for you! As long as your 2017 Nissan rogue SV is front wheel drive then you'll be just fine to use a dolly like Roadmaster Tow Dolly with Electric Brakes - 4,250 lbs part # RM-2050-1. This will give you the capacity you need and have you on your way safely.

Here is an excerpt from the owners manual

Continuously Variable Transmission:
To tow a vehicle equipped with a continuously
variable transmission, an appropriate vehicle
dolly MUST be placed under the towed vehicle’s
drive wheels

If you have an AWD please do not attempt to flat tow it. It is not allowed and stated in several places in the manual.

I've linked the pages and a video below for you.
