The bow tie down strap you will want to use are the BoatBuckle G2 Retractable, Ratcheting Bow Tie-Down Strap - Steel - 43" Long - 833 lbs - Qty 1 part # IMF14220 . With a 833 lb safe working load limit these will work out very well to eliminate the bouncing we often see in the bow of boats.

Please keep in mind this doesn't replace your trailers winch which is designed to hold the boat in place. This strap is just to prevent the up and down movement while headed down the road. This should also be used with a good set of transom straps like BoatBuckle G2 Retractable, Ratcheting Transom Tie-Down Straps - 43" Long - 833 lbs - Qty 2 part # IMF08893 for a complete tie downs system.

I've included links to the pages for each and the videos we have done on them here at etrailer.
