Does a Hydraulic Trailer Brake Actuator Have to be Primed for Use  

Question:

how do you prime the actuator or master cylincer ....Minds is weld to the tongue of the trailer and have to buy parts to rebuild the unit and new wheel cylincer

The brake actuator, # T43397007K, does not have to be primed. After you have replaced the parts needed and reconnected the brake lines, you will fill the reservoir with DOT 3 brake fluid, leave the cap off, and proceed to bleed the brakes. I have included a link to a video that shows how to bleed the brakes manually.
