Which Brake Controller Install Harness is Correct for 2011 Ford F-53 Hurricane
Question:
I purchased what is supposed to be a vehicle-specific wiring adapter to plug into the factory pigtail under the dash of my 2011 Hurricane motor home. You shipped me the adapter that you said was specific for my Ford F53 chassis the adapter has a tag on it that says 3034. The adapter you sent is much larger that the Ford pigtail plug under the dash. My plug has 4 wires going to it. It is grey in color and has to rows of 3 pins. The adapter you sent me has many more holes and pins. Did you send me the wrong adapter?

Expert Reply:
The correct brake controller install harness for your 2011 F-53 motorhome is actually the # 3035-P which is why you are having issues connecting your brake controller. 2011 is the last year the 3035-P is the correct harness and in 2012 they went to the 3034-P like what you have.
