Relay Locations Needed to Activate Trailer Lights on 2011 Nissan Titan
Question:
Is that blue relay for trailer lights in the same place on a 2011 titan [as it is in the 2012]?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Yes, if your 2011 Nissan Titan does not have a factory installed tow package, it requires the same relay kit, part # C57000 as the 2012 Titan, along with a connector, like # HM40975. The relay locations will be the same on both vehicles.
The large, brown relay activates 12-volt power circuit and the small, blue relays activate turn signals
That being said, some Nissan vehicles will require a third blue relay from the Curt Relay Kit # C57000. This third relay needs to be installed in the relay location adjacent to the other two blue relays. As shown in the attached photo.
