Weight Capacity Of The Inno Velo Gripper Bike Rack

2017 GMC 1500 Sierra with Spray in bed liner. The spec for INRT201 lists the capacity as 33 lbs. Is this for each clamp? So will it secure a bike weighing 51 lbs?

Per the Inno Instruction Manual for the Inno Velo Gripper Bike Rack for Truck Beds # INRT201, the maximum load for the carrier as whole is 1 bike or 33 lbs so unfortunately that weight capacity is not for each clamp and therefore a 51 lb bike would not be recommended use.

Yes, the arms you referred of the Inno Velo Gripper bike rack part #INRT201 are adjustable. In the instructions this is referred to as the bike rod and can move in and out to allow you to line the bike up as needed.
