Picking Out Replacement Brake Assemblies for 1989 Horse Trailer
Question:
I have 1989 s- s 4 horse trailer it has 8 hole rims 16 inch tires 5 bolts holding the backing plate I have the serial number of trailer 1s9g61624ke180785 then on the drum it has stamped dia 12-090 then down a ways 729-60 then it has stamped 12-300 then w-2 if that helps I knew the shoes are 2 inches wide do I need to measure anything else if you can help me let me knew thank you

Due to the age of your trailer I'd also want to get the diameter of the brake assemblies. Hopefully we have something but sometimes on the older axles the designs are now different. I can't find anything based on numbers mentioned either.
Most likely though you have standard 12 inch by 2 inch brake assemblies and would only need the set part # AKEBRK-7-SA. These are 5 bolt like you need as well.
