A transmission cooler like the Derale # D13503 isn't a vehicle specific item. According to Derale the # D13503 would work fine with your Sorento. The cooler would install inline on the return line carrying the transmission fluid back to the transmission from the radiator. The most efficient place to install the cooler is directly behind the vehicle grille, right in front of the radiator.
