2007 Chevrolet Suburban 2500 Wire Harness Adapter
Question:
Will the 3015 plug and play on my suburban 2500

Expert Reply:
The 2007 Suburban does not require a wiring adapter so the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers - GM # 3015-P will not be confirmed fit in our system since it's not necessary.
The tow package wiring however can wire directly to the brake controller instead, located above the emergency brake pedal, it is taped to a wiring harness. There will be a white tag hanging off of the wiring and the four wires included are red, dark blue, light blue and white.
You will need the wiring that plugs into the brake controller but the other end will be wires to connect to the vehicle's wires not a plug like the Replacement Brake Control Plug-In Harness for Tekonsha and Draw-Tite Brake Controller 12" Long # 20127
The red tow package wire connects to the black wire on the controller, the dark blue tow package wire connects to the blue brake controller wire, the light blue tow package wire attaches to the red brake controller wire, and the white wire on the tow package connects with the white wire on the brake controller.
