Best Way to Carry an E-Bike in a 2016 Ford F-150

Hi. Do you have a product for ebikes ? The normal pad damaged my tail Gate. Also velcro is not long enough I have a Scott EBike Thank you

I have a solution for you, but there is not a tailgate pad designed specifically for e-bikes that will do a better job than the Yakima GateKeeper Y07411. In order to carry your e-bike without damaging the tailgate I recommend using a hitch mounted bike rack like the Saris Freedom 2 Bike Platform Rack # SA4412B, which has a 60-lbs per bike (120-lbs total) capacity and is designed with e-bikes in mind. This is a platform bike rack that will allow you to easily load your bikes, plus, the soft rubber cradles have cushioned straps to grip your bikes by the downtubes or top tubes and it won't scratch up your bike frame. Using a rack like this might require the removal of your bike's battery to get under the weight capacity, but it will provide a great alternative to using the Gatekeeper when carrying bikes in your Ford F-150.

If you don't already have a hitch on your 2016 Ford F-150, I recommend using the Curt # C86HR, which will provide you with a 2" hitch receiver for your truck and allow you to carry the Saris Freedom 2 rack.
