Recommended Roof Rack for 2013 Rockwood Premier Pop Up Camper
Question:
Hi, Im looking for a roof rack or crossbars to mount and carry my Thule rooftop cargo box on our 2013 Rockwood Premier 2514G pop up camper. Do you have a recommendation as to which roof rack or crossbar set would work for our setup? Thank you!!

For your 2013 Rockwood Premier 2514G pop up camper I recommend SportRack Pop-Up Camper Roof Rack # SR1020. Since your Rockwood is right at 7 ft wide this kit will be a great fit and way to transport extra gear without taking up any space inside. They are adjustable to 80", 83" or 86" long, and can support up to 200 lbs. The bars are 1 1/4" square bars, so they will work out well for your Thule box, and most accessories if you wanted to add some in the future.
The roof rack system is going to come with all the necessary components to get it installed, and since it requires drilling I recommend using silicone to seal up the holes and prevent any kind of leaks in your camper. You can use TremPro 644 Silicone Sealant # 0160297, it's recommended for vents, roofs, and other camper and trailer applications.
I linked all the parts mentioned above so you can check them out. Happy Camping!
