Trailer Hitch For A 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 With Factory Step Bumper
Question:
I'm interested in a hitch to carry a 2 bike rack to fit the back of my 2019 Sprinter. I also need a cover for my bikes. Is the Swagman S82006 ok to use or is that only for RVs? My Sprinter is the 170" wheelbase and factory bumper

A great choice of hitch for your Mercedes Sprinter is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13358. The 2" receiver provides you many accessories to choose from for your Sprinter beyond the bike rack. It's also easy to install with no welding required and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
A very popular rack to go on back of your Sprinter is the Kuat NV 2.0 2-Bike Platform Rack in Metallic Black # NV22B or Gunmetal Gray # NV22G. The ratcheting hooks will hold your bike securely without making frame contact. The rack is also capable of tilting away for rear access to your vehicle even with bikes loaded.
While the Swagman Bike Cover for RVs # S24FR was designed for RV use, the main reason it's restricted from truck, car, and SUV use is there is not enough wind protection behind those vehicles. The 2500 Sprinter will provide that so you will be fine with this cover even though it's not technically an RV.
