Recommended Trailer Hitch for 2020 Subaru Outback Wagon

For your 2020 Subaru Outback Wagon I highly recommend the Curt Class III Receiver Hitch # C67JR, which will line up to existing holes in the vehicle's frame rails for a no-drill install, features a nice hidden design so that only the 2" receiver is visible (see attached image), and offers a much friendlier price point compared to the other options currently available.

This Class III hitch has a 600 pound tongue weight capacity, more than enough for a rack and loaded bikes, and a 4,000 pound towing weight limit if you ever decided to tow a small trailer in the future. I have included the written installation manual below that you can also look through.

If you don't yet have a bike rack picked up I recommend taking a look at the Kuat Transfer # KU74FR. This is a really nice platform-style carrier that uses ratcheting hooks to secure the bikes by the wheels (with no frame contact) and a convenient foot pedal that lets you tilt the whole unit back for easy rear cargo access.
