Does Ground Wire of Tekonsha Brake Controller Install Harness # 3031-P Have to be Ran Separately
Question:
I have a 2019 toyota tacoma with factory tow package. I know I plug one end into the built in plug behind the kick panel and the other end into the brake controller. The 3031-P wire harness that came with the tekonsha primus IQ controller I bought has also has a ground wire on it. Does this have to be connected?

Yes, when installing the brake controller install harness part # 3031-P you do have to run the extra ground wire.
