How To Wire the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Observation Camera System So the Cameras Stay On

Question:

If I wanted to install the full observation system with this trailer and use the cameras inside the RV how would I have to wire the side running lights/cameras? Assuming they are only powered from when the Truck is running, or braking how could I wire it so I can be fully disconnected from the Truck and view all the cameras.

The Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Observation Camera System part # FCE48TASL-05 is designed to be tied into either the running light circuit which would allow the system to be used when the running lights are on in the tow vehicle or the reverse light circuit which would allow the system to be used when the tow vehicle is in reverse. This would hold true for both the main and side cameras.

It sounds like you are wanting to tie the system into a constant power source so you can use the cameras while disconnected from the tow vehicle. If that is the case then I cannot recommend this although you could accomplish the task by wiring the cameras directly to the trailer battery but keep in mind the monitor needs to receive power from the tow vehicle's cigarette lighter outlet and be in range in order for the system to work properly.
