Recommended Regulator for Fireplace and 100 Lb Propane Tank

Question:

Good Morning, we are having a propane specialist hook up our fireplace. We have purchased a 100 lb propane tank, Worthington Pro Grade with a 10 POL Valve. We need to supply the hook up to the propane tank, piping from tank to regulator and the regulator. The propane specialist will take it from the regulator to the fireplace. The external regulator needs to have vent pointing down, and be 11WC to 14WC What can we purchase for this? Thank you for your assistance.

The MB Sturgis Vertical 2-Stage Propane Regulator part # 108220 is what I recommend using to supply the fireplace. The MB Sturgis Vertical 2-Stage Propane Regulator has the correct water column pressure rating you need (11"WC) and the vent is pointed down (6 o'clock position) so it meets both of your criteria. In order to hook up the MB Sturgis Vertical 2-Stage Propane Regulator to the 100 lb tank you will need the MB Sturgis Hose Assembly part # 100202.
