Timbren Suspension Versus Shock Absorbers for Triple Axle Trailer
Question:
which is better for triple axles, shocks or rubberized components
asked by: Charles
Expert Reply:
All around, shock absorbers like the # LC281255 would provide a smoother ride than a rubber spring like the Timbren SES type system like # TTRA1032.
You'll want to be sure to use the correctly rated system for your axle capacity. The # LC281255 you'd looked at is rated for 3500 lb axles, you'd need three of them.
For a higher rated 5200-7000 lb axle, use # RM-2460 along with the # 2460-50 add-on.
