5-Way Round Vehicle Connector To Tow Trailer WIth 5-Way Round

Question:

Where can i get a 5 wire harness that i can wire to my truck with 5 wires in the setup? My trailer also has a round 5-way hookup. I cannot find a wiring harness that fits this setup any where.

I do have an option for you but it is not a wiring harness for the truck. I recommend to wire in the Pollak 5-Pole, Round Pin Trailer Wiring Socket, Concealed Terminals part # PK11502 at the rear of the truck which will give you a plug to plug in the 5-way round on your trailer. This is recommend to be used with 15-16 gauge wire and I attached the wiring configuration below:

White - Ground Return
Green - Right Turn and Brake Lights
Yellow - Left Turn and Brake Lights
Red - Auxiliary Circuit
Brown - Tail Lights

You do want to make sure the circuits of your trailer side 5-way round match up to the new plug. If you need to replace the plug on the trailer you can use part # PK11501.
