Parts Needed To Switch B&W Companion From 2017 GMC Sierra 3500 To 2020 GMC Sierra 3500

I currently have a 17 Sierra 3500hd. I am buying a 20 Sierra 3500hd. I already have a companion 20k OEM puck and will have to buy a new base. What is the difference between the 20k and 25k? Is it in the base, head or both?

The weight capacity difference between the 25K and the 20K B&W Companion is in the head. The Head Assembly for B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches part # BWRVC3006 is rated for 25K.
If you have the OEM prep package in the new 2020 Sierra 3500HD with a 8 foot bed then you will need Replacement Base for B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Chevy/GMC - 25,000 lbs part # BWRVB3715. If you have a short bed with the OEM prep you will need the slider base part # BWRVB3775. The slider setup has a capacity of 20,000 lbs.
