I verified with my contact at Draw-Tite that the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Class III Trailer Hitch, # 75751, will fit all models of the 2005 Mazda Tribute.
The only issue that you may run into will be with the wiring harness. There are two wiring harnesses available for your vehicle. If your vehicle came with a factory tow package, then you can use the Hopkins Custom Fit Wiring Harness, # 40455. If you do have the factory tow package, then you may need to may need to see a local Ford dealership for a relay to activate the tow package wiring.
I have attached a video showing how to locate the factory wiring and install the Hopkins wiring harness if you do have the factory tow package.
If your vehicle did not come with a tow package, then you will need the T-One Wiring Harness, # 118426. This wiring harness will attach to the connection points behind your tail light assembly and do not require additional relays.
I have also attached the installation instructions and an installation video of the T-One wiring harness for you to check out. Again the vehicle in the video is different, but the installation process will be the same on your Tribute S.
