Recommended Trailer Hitch for a 2020 Kia Sportage
Question:
I just got a 2020 Kia Sportage and need a trailer hitch? I see you have a few options but which is best and why?

The trailer hitch I recommend for a 2020 Kia Sportage is the etrailer Hitch part # e72TR. The etrailer Hitch offers a complete bolt-on installation with no cutting/drilling or special tools involved therefore no permanent modifications are required. This is certainly something you can install at home, in your driveway without much effort as it only takes most on average around forty minutes or so.
This Hitch has a concealed cross tube so the only part that is visible will be the receiver tube opening which does not take away from the look of the vehicle. I have attached both an install photo and video for you.
If you will be using the trailer hitch for towing, I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C56321 which is a complete plug and play option.
Then for a ball mount/hitch ball, the Ball Mount Kit part # 989900 would have you covered. Please note, if the trailer has brakes you can also add the 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit for Trailer Brake Controller Installation part # ETBC7L and the Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180 for an easy install and in-use option.
