Does the Curt Hitch for the 2012 Dodge Durango Hang Underneath the Bumper
Question:
will i need to cut out the moulded plastic rear facia so this hitch will be at the same elevation as the factory hitch and do you have a picture of this hitch installed on a new Dodge Durango

I attached a picture of the Curt Hitch # C13182 installed on a similar 2012 Dodge Durango as yours. You will notice that this hitch hangs below the bumper and does not require any fascia trimming. The factory hitch comes through the rear bumper like you are aware of, whereas this one is below the bumper.
