Where is Underbody Piece That Needs to Be Removed on 2019 Mazda CX-5 GT for Trailer Hitch

Hello! I want to get the Drawtite 76138 for my 2019 Mazda CX-5 and it's the Grand Touring model. I see the note about a piece on this model that needs to be removed for the hitch? Where is this piece located? Is it hard to take off?

You are right that on the Grand Touring model of your 2019 Mazda CX-5 there is an underbody trim piece that needs to be removed when installing the Draw-Tite Class III Trailer Hitch # 76138 (this is the case with the other Class III hitch available for your vehicle as well).

This is really just a long plastic piece that simply gets popped off with a flat-head screwdriver. It isn't difficult at all and it won't affect the integrity of the rear bumper on your Mazda. It's essentially a minor aesthetic component that just gets a bit in the way of where the trailer hitch needs to mount.
