Which Trailer Hitch Mounted Bike Carrier Works for a 2008 Honda Fit Sport
Question:
Hi there, I own a 2008 Honda Fit Sport. I need a bike rack, and am interested in this hitch. What bike racks would you recommend that will fit this hitch? Thank you,

We have several bike racks that will work with your vehicle and this hitch. You need to remember the tongue weight capacity of the hitch is 200 pounds, so you do not want to exceed that or the recommended tongue weight of the vehicle (whichever is lower).
Your vehicles recommended tongue weight capacity is in the owner manual or inside the drivers door jamb. Tongue weight includes the rack, bikes and any weight loaded behind the rear axle of the vehicle. I have posted links to several bike racks that would work with this carrier.
The first is the aluminum Thule Helium Aero, # TH9042PRO, bike rack which is 19 pounds and the second is the Kuat 3 bike rack which is 15 pounds. This rack is easy to handle and install and folds for compact storage. It also has a built-in cable lock and cushioning cradles to protect the bikes.
The next model I selected is a platform style rack, # S64670, which offers an anti-rattle hitch pin and easy loading and removal of the bikes, while providing easy attachment of different frame styles. If I can help further let me know.
