Can Powerhouse TC2 2-Amp Trickle Charger Be Used for 12V Car/Camper Battery
Question:
Can I use the NOCO Genius Smart Battery Charger for a 12 volt car/camper batter. It says for ATVs, wave runners, lawn mowers, and other equipment, which all use smaller batteries.

The NOCO Genius Smart Battery Charger # 329-GENIUS2D is suitable for 12V batteries rated up to 40 amp-hours so if the 12V battery on your camper is rated for 40 amp-hours or less, you can use it. However, most standard sized 12V batteries are going to be rated for higher than that. This particular charger has a maximum output of just 2 amps so it's going to take a really long time (if ever) to charge up a full size 12V battery if it's anything less than fully charged when hooking it up.
A much better option will be with the NOCO Genius # 329-GENIUS10 that features a similar design to the Powerhouse unit (plugs into wall outlet and connects to the battery) but provides more amps (10 amps compared to 2 for the one you reference) output to properly maintain the charge on your battery.
I have attached a short video review on this charger that you can check out as well.
