Will Motorcycle Carrier Cause Too Much Pressure for Safe Use of Scooter on Motorhome

Question:

Looking at the ultra-fab dirt bike carrier for a class c sprinter Winnebago view. How will the recover length affect the 5000 lbs 500lbs tongue weight???

While it is true that accessories with longer lengths apply more pressure to the trailer hitch receiver, unless you plan on using an extender like part # C45791 that simply places the location where the accessory installs further out than the hitch receiver, there isn't going enough of an extension for it to make a difference.

The Utra-Fab Dirt-Bike Carrier # UF48-979033 won't exert any extra force on the receiver so you can use the full 400 lb weight rating of the carrier if need be since it weighs in at about 50 lbs. This means that the weight of the carrier plus your scooter will be safe if your trailer hitch and Winnebago are both rated for 500 lbs of tongue weight. The Ulta-Fab is rated to be used on a Motorhome.
