Correct Trailer Wiring Harness Kit for a 2015 Honda Pilot Touring

Question:

I have a Honda Pilot 2015 Touring and I want to tow a trailer with it, but for that I need to install a trailer wiring harness kit. I looked at the available wiring harness kits at etrailer and it seems that the Touring model have a bit more different setup than the rest of the Honda Pilot 2015. As an example, the connector in the AUX FUSE compartment in the back of the vehicle is quite different - I am attaching a picture of the connector for reference? Could you please advise me which trailer wiring harness kit will fit my Honda Pilot 2015 Touring? Many thanks in advance for your help!

Thank you for all of the info about your situation and the picture! If you're wanting to install a 4-Way connector I recommend the T-One # 118558 but if you need the 7-Way connector then I recommend the T-One # 118265 for your 2015 Honda Pilot Touring. Reason being that we have found the Tekonsha wiring kits to be the most reliable on the market.

I know the plugs in these kits look a little different than the black plug that you found in the AUX FUSE compartment but I think you actually have located the wrong plug as the T-One should connect to a white plug. This plug can be tucked up behind that paneling so all hope is not lost!

If you still can't find it behind the rear panel let me know and I can help you troubleshoot a little further.
