Where Does Curt Wiring Harness for 2020 Honda Pilot Mount on Vehicle

Plan on installing the Curt wiring harness for my 2020 Honda Pilot but have a question about mounting. Where does the connector store when it's not being used? What would you recommend?

The 4-Way connector for the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56291 is actually designed to store inside the rear cargo area on your 2020 Honda Pilot when not in use. This keeps the connector protected from the elements for a much longer lifespan than if it were to be mounted outside on the bumper or your trailer hitch, so it's really the preferred method.

Then when it's time to hook up to the trailer you will just pull the connector out and close the rear hatch over the wiring (don't worry, this won't damage or pinch the wiring in any way).

If you really wanted to store the connector outside the vehicle on the bumper then there is a rubber grommet right next to the wheel jack in the rear storage area that can be used to route the harness to the hitch. You could then use the Mounting Bracket # 18144 and No-Drill Mount # 18140 to attach it.
