Recommended Pace Edwards Tonneau Cover for 2020 Ford F-350 Short Bed Towing 5th Wheel Trailer

Hi. I am looking at the Pace Edwards covers for my short bed 2020 Ford F-350 and wondering which one you might recommend. I do plan on towing a 5th wheel trailer from time to time so I will probably be leaving the hitch in there....Thanks.

For your 2020 Ford F-350 short bed I really like the Pace Edwards JackRabbit Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover # 311-JRFA18A44. The low-profile mounting rails sit right on top of the bed rails and unlike some other Pace Edwards retractable covers, there isn't a larger protrusion up towards the cab that could potentially interfere with a 5th wheel trailer overhang during towing. As long as your existing hitch fits under the top of the bed rails on your truck it will fit beneath the closed cover.

Since this is a retracting cover, it's also not going to obstruct your view out the rear cab window while towing like a fold-up or even a soft roll-up tonneau cover would. It will provide a completely secure truck bed when the tailgate's closed and locked to help protect your hitch and it actually includes a key latch and 2 keys that let you lock the cover at any point along the rails.
