How To Use Curt Echo On a Honda Pilot with 4-Way

Will the 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit for Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 12 Gauge Wires, work for a 2016 Honda Pilot using a curt echo? I currently only have a 4 pin connect on it. Thank you for your response.

Yes, the 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit for Trailer Brake Controller Installation part # ETBC7L will absolutely work on a Honda Pilot and then allow you to use the Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180. The 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit will plug into the 4-way you have now and then you must run the black wire to the battery and the white wire to a ground but that is it, no other connections will be needed/required. This option is by far the easiest way to go to install a brake controller on a Honda Pilot so you made a great choice. There is also no splicing into the vehicle which is crucial for retaining any warranties.
