I took a look at the online version of the owner's manual for your 2014 Honda CR-V, and while it does not specifically list a tongue weight capacity, it does state under the towing section that a trailer's tongue weight should be 10 percent of the trailer's total weight. Since the manual does list a towing capacity of 1,500 pounds, it's pretty safe to assume that the vehicle has a 150 tongue weight capacity, which would apply to the combined weight of your 225 pound dirt bike plus the weight of the carrier itself.
With this in mind it doesn't look like your Honda CR-V can safely handle transporting the dirt bike in this manner.
Your only option to transport the bike with your vehicle will be with a small utility trailer like the Detail K2 # K2MMT4X6 or a flat-deck type trailer you might find at a farm/outdoor supply center.
If you decide to go this route you will need a trailer hitch to hook up with the trailer and a wiring harness to power its signal lights. For the hitch the etrailer.com Class III # e98868 will work perfectly and will line right up to existing holes in the CR-V's frame rails for a simple bolt-on, no-drill installation.
Then for the wiring harness I recommend the Tekonsha T-One # 118561, which is custom designed for your Honda CR-V for a plug-and-play installation. It will connect right to factory ports behind the driver and passenger side trim panels in the rear cargo area. This will provide you with a 4-Way connector to connect with and power the trailer's basic signal lights.
Lastly you will need a ball mount and hitch ball. I have included a great article below that explains how to choose the best one for your setup.
