Trailer Hitch and Wiring for a 2019 Kia Sorento
Question:
Towing a small trailer with my 2019 Sorento. I need a hitch and wiring so I can do this. What do you recommend to do this and is there anything else I need?

Thank you for all of the details about your 2019 Kia Sorento!
For a trailer hitch I recommend the etrailer.com Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98843 because it is the only option that comes with a matte black finish. This finish not only looks more natural on your vehicle but it also does a much better job at hiding scratches and dents from road debris than the glossy black powder coat does that more traditional trailer hitches use. I have attached an installation video and some photos of this installed on a '19 Sorento for you to check out.
Then for wiring there are 2 different options I recommend for your Sorento. T-Connector # C56332 if you have the factory tow package, or T-One # 118583 if you don't have the factory tow package. Both options are designed to protect the expensive electrical system on your vehicle and come with the most reliable converter box on the market so you can be confident in that protection. Attached are install videos for these as well.
To complete a towing setup you also need a ball mount kit. I recommend checking out Ball Mount Kit # 989900 because it includes two ball mounts, one with a 3/4” rise/2” drop and the other with a 2-3/4” rise/4” drop, a 1-7/8” hitch ball, a 2” hitch ball, and a pin and clip. You will want to refer to the attached ball mount article to ensure that this kit is correct for your towing application.
Additional accessories that you might be interested in are the mounting brackets # 18140 and # 18144 which allow you to mount the 4-Way wiring connector next to your hitch receiver, as well as the etrailer.com Rubber Hitch Cover # 22282 to help protect your trailer hitch receiver from dirt and debris when you aren't using it.
