Weight of the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Chevy Silverado 3500

You are correct in saying that the B&W Companion # BWRVK3710 can be broken into 2 different pieces- the base and the hitch. The total weight of the Companion hitch is approximately 150-lbs; when broken down each piece weighs approximately 75 to 80-lbs which makes it one of the easier 5th wheel hitches to take apart and move in and out of your truck- for what it's worth, the base weighs slightly more than the head.
