Does B&W Companion Hitch for 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500 w OEM Rail Kit Require Additional Components

Question:

Does this hitch need support rails under the bed of truck for extra support like the Reese hitch installed on my old 2013 Silverado 2500hd extended cab long bed. My truck new 2500hd comes with the trailer towing package. I think you call them pucks.

The B and W Companion for GM Rail Kits part # BWRVK3710 that you referenced fits the fifth wheel rail kit you have installed in the bed of your truck directly and does not require any additional bracing. You just set the hitch into the rail kit, turn the knobs of the feet to secure and you're ready to tow!

This is the best hitch available for your application so it will work really well for you. It's the easiest to use overall, the most durable/reliable, and also the quietest due how tight it holds the king pin of the trailer.
