Expert Reply:
The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 75699 is what I recommend for a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee as it fits all models except those with a diesel engine. The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver has a 5,000 lb weight capacity which is the highest available for this vehicle. The best part of all is that the cross tube is completely hidden once installed (see photo) and there is even a welded bracket for the trailer connector. The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver is a bolt on fit (see video) that does not require any cutting or drilling. I have attached some other parts you might want to consider as well.
T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # 118727
7-Way RV Upgrade Kit part # ETBC7L (If Trailer Has Brakes)
Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180 (If Trailer Has Brakes)
Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System part # FA92-00-0800 (Increases Hitch Capacity To 7,500 lbs)
