What is Correct Install Harness for Tekonsha Primus in 2007 Dodge Ram 1500

2007 dodge 1500 with a 4 plug wire. Is controller tx90160 and harness 57186 the correct combination?

The correct install harness to use with the Primus part # TK90160 for your 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 is actually the part # 3020-P which plugs into the port under the dash of your truck.

You will need to also use the part # ETBC7 to convert the 4-way to a 7-way and install the controller. The brake (blue) wire does not run all the way back to the 4-pole at the rear from the port under the dash; it stops at the connector that is located under the driver's side wheel well. In order to finalize the installation you must splice into this wire and continue it back to the plug.

Or you could run the included wire of the # ETBC7 from the blue wire at the back of the controller to the blue wire of the # ETBC7 7-way and you'd be set.
