MaxxAir Vent Fan LED Indicator Lamp on Control Board Flashing and Fan Not Working
Question:
My fan has been working great up until today. I recently hooked up a 12 volt RV fridge directly to my deep cycle battery, my fan is connected to a controller as I have solar. All was working great for about 2 hours. I turned my vent fan to exhaust because it has cooled down and it started beeping, then stopped working altogether. The green auto light was flashing. It is on steady and nothing works. Ive tried pressing all the buttons... nothing. All hookups are good.

The logic board used in the fan will lock itself out to prevent damage if a voltage spike occurs. You can reset the board by disconnecting power to the fan for a few seconds and then reconnect. This will reset the board, and the fan should work properly after that. You'll want to make sure the fan is getting not much more than 12 volts, or this will continue to occur.
