For your 2020 Toyota RAV4 the best hitch recommendation I can make is the etrailer part # e23ZR as it has the best towing capacity and has a concealed crosstube which makes it less visible and and also helps with ground clearance. I attached a picture of what it looks like installed as well as an install video.

Then for trailer wiring the Curt kit part # C56434 is the best option as it installs easily and has the highest amperage rating too which means it will be the most resistant to internal issues due to trailer wiring shorts as well.

Since you wanted to do some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
