Fifth Wheel Recommendation For 2019 Ford F-150 Towing Trailer With Reese Revolution Pin Box

Question:

I just bought a 11000 lb fifth wheel trailer and it has a revolution box on it. What do i need to tow the trailer with my 2019 ford F-150 5-1/2 ft bed. I read somewhere I cant use a slider with the revolution is that true?

It is true that you should used a fixed fifth wheel hitch with the Reese Revolution instead of a slider even with a short bed truck. The Reese Revolution and other pivoting pin boxes like the Sidewinder are designed to move the pivot point of the trailer setup back so using a slider would create two pivot points which would not work.

The Reese revolution and the fixed Reese 16K fifth wheel hitch part # RP30047 with the installation rails for the 2019 Ford F-150 part # RP50087-58 is exactly what you need to tow the 11,000 lb fifth wheel trailer. The 16K is the fifth wheel that Reese recommends with the Revolution
