Can Vent Assembly for Atwood Air Command Rooftop RV Air Conditioner Be Oriented 180 Degrees
Question:
I bought a 15025/21 a few weeks ago, and am installing it. The instructions show the ceiling assembly installed with the thermostat section toward the front of the unit, but Id like to install it with the thermostat section facing toward the rear of the unit. I understand that the plenum air duct section has to be installed in the correct orientation extension duct matching outlet port, but it looks like the ceiling assembly section with the filters can be installed with the thermostat facing either toward the front or the rear of the A/C? Is turning the ceiling assembly 180 degrees possible? Thanks

From what I could see the only potential problem you'd have is that there is a raised piece of foam on the vent/thermostat (for the controller) that may get in the way if you install the (discontinued) Atwood Air Command Rooftop RV Air Conditioner AT15025-21 how you mentioned (see attached photos). If you lift those pieces into place though and they don't make contact then I see no reason why you can't simply turn the ceiling assembly 180 degrees like what you're wanting to do.
Attached is a sample installation video that you can check out.
