Difference Between Black Or Silver Crossbars on Malone Trailer

Wherever I look, including on your site, I see the trailer with different mounted crossbars. In one case, they are black and shallower in depth then in other occasions, the silver galvanized steel crossbars which are as deep as they are wide. It seems the black ones are closer in dimension to the Thule Load Bars. I tried fitting a Yakima sweetroll saddle system to the silver, square crossbars on the trailer I just assembled. They would not fit. I tried fitting them on a set of Thule load bars and they fit perfectly. Why the random difference in the two sets of load bars on the Malone trailer?

I contacted Malone on your behalf and essentially if a dealer is showing a black load bar style on any MicroSport trailer # MPG460G, it is a pre-2019 model and the dealer either has not updated their imagery or still has an older model in stock.

Yakima Sweet Roll Tie Downs # Y04074 are compatible with round, square, aero, elliptical, and most factory crossbars.
