Will this cargo carrier e98874 fit and fold up properly on a 2007 Toyota 4Runner? Also, what is the clearance from the exhaust pipe?

The etrailer 20x60 Folding Cargo Carrier, part # e98874, will fit in a 2-inch hitch receiver. If your 2007 Toyota 4Runner has a 2-inch hitch receiver, then this cargo carrier will fit with the carrier in the down position.

To know if the cargo carrier # e98874 will fit your 4Runner when folded up you will need to make one important measurement. You will need to measure from the center of the hitch pin hole to the furthest point on the rear of the vehicle, probably the bumper. If it is less than 9-1/2 inches, this carrier will work. If it is more, then the carrier will touch the rear of the vehicle. The cargo carrier # e98874 measures 9-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest portion of the carrier when it is folded up.
