Trailer Wiring Recommendation for a 2019 Nissan Pathfinder
Question:
I already have a trailer hitch installed on my 2019 Pathfinder so I'm looking for wiring kit that I can use. There looks to be a handful of options available and I'm not sure what to choose. Any help would be appreciated!

I can definitely help you choose a wiring kit for your 2019 Nissan Pathfinder!
If you opted for the factory prep package then you should have a factory pigtail that plugs in behind your rear bumper on the passenger side. Once the pigtail is plugged in you simply need to connect the Hopkins # HM40975 and secure it to your trailer hitch using the Mounting Bracket # 18140.
Otherwise I recommend using either the 4-Way T-One # 118670 or the 7-Way T-One # 118273 from Tekonsha because we have found their wiring kits the most reliable. These kits come with the pigtail and wiring/relays needed to activate the tow package and get you on the road. If you want the best of both worlds you can pair the T-One # 118273 with the Hopkins # HM40975 which gives you both 4-Way and 7-Way connections. You would naturally need the Mounting Bracket # 18140 and then either part # 18144 for the 4-Way or part # PK12711U for the 7-Way.
To complete a towing setup you also need a ball mount kit. I recommend checking out Ball Mount Kit # 989900 because it includes two ball mounts, one with a 3/4” rise/2” drop and the other with a 2-3/4” rise/4” drop, a 1-7/8” hitch ball, a 2” hitch ball, and a pin and clip. You will want to refer to the attached ball mount article to ensure that this kit is correct for your towing application.
I have also attached sample installation videos for all of the wiring kits that you can check out.
