No Power On Running Light Circuit Of Vehicle

Question:

I have an issue with the running lights on my trailer, my brakes and turn signals work, but not the running lights. When we plug another vehicle in and everything works, which means the issue is with the truck itself. Using a tester we determined that power was coming to all but the running lights at the 4pin and 7pin connection. The fuse looks good.

It sounds like either you have a bad ground on the truck at the 4-pin or 7-pin connector or there is a bad/missing fuse. Since you are not getting power at the running light circuit only, it is a good idea to check the owner's manual of your vehicle for the fuse location of the trailer tow park lamp or any other fuses related to towing in your vehicle. If you double check the fuses and there are not any missing or damaged, check the ground on the connectors to make sure they are grounded to a clean bare metal surface of the vehicle's frame.

If you are still not able to pin point the issue, please let me know your year make and model and I can try to assist you further.
