Recommended Trailer Brake Controller and Wiring Harness for 2020 Honda Odyssey
Question:
Can you recommend a trailer brake controller for a 2020 Honda Odyssey? Also, I need the wiring and am a bit confused about that so what is the right wiring for this?

The brake controller I highly recommend for your 2020 Honda Odyssey is the Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller # C51180 because it is the easiest brake controller on the market to use and install. The reason the Echo is so simple is because it is controlled with an app on your smartphone, a device that you're already comfortable using so there is not going to be any unfamiliar hardware or poorly-written manual to keep poring over simply to use your controller.
The Curt Echo will simply plug into the 7-way on the back of your Odyssey with absolutely no additional wiring necessary. This means no bulky unit in your cab, saving you precious space and the hassle of having to drill under your dash to mount it. The Echo is also a proportional controller, which means your trailer braking power is going to be as smooth as the braking on your Odyssey for a more comfortable ride.
To install the Echo you will first need a 4-way, the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118753, along with the 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit for Trailer Brake Controller Installation # ETBC7L. This, along with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13370, which fits your 2020 Honda Odyssey, and etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900 will give you great towing set up. I have added links to the installation instructions and install videos for you which I also recommend checking out.
