Parts Needed To Tow a Trailer With a 2020 Hyundai Palisade

We just got our 2020 Hyundai Palisade which we need to tow a trailer with but it did not come with the tow package. What do we need?

In order to tow a trailer with a 2020 Hyundai Palisade you will need a trailer hitch, trailer wiring harness, and ball mount/hitch ball at the very least though there may be other items as well depending on the exact trailer. For a trailer hitch, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13427 because it has a hidden design which you can see in the attached photo and it is a bolt-on option with no cutting or drilling required.

For a trailer wiring harness, I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # CU94FR which is a plug and play installation. For a ball mount/hitch ball, the Curt Towing Starter Kit part # C45554 should be a good fit to start out.

Please keep in mind that if the trailer has brakes you will also want to install a trailer wiring harness adapter, the 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit for Trailer Brake Controller Installation part # ETBC7L and a brake controller, the Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180 is what I recommend due to the ease of install.
