My next question would be,, Do/ Should the inside dual tire also be covered or would just covering the outside exposed one be safishent to protect the back tire, to a point?

I wish we had a cover that matched what you are looking for but we do not have any dually wheel covers that will cover both wheels.

Since wheel/tire covers are designed to protect the tire mainly from the sun you normally don't really need to cover the inside tire on a dually setup. So for your ST235/85R16 tires that measure 31.7" in diameter I recommend the SnapRing TireSavers Tire Covers # ST7002BK which are easy to install, fit the tire size you have, and will last you a long time.
