Does Installing Draw Tite Hitch on 2019 BMW X5 Require Rear Fascia Trimming
Question:
I have a 2019 BMW X5 40I. Does it require cutting of bottom fascia to fit in the hitch? Does it affect the hand-free operation of truck opening by kicking underneath the bumper?

To install the Draw Tite hitch part # 76288 on your 2019 BMW X5 you do have to trim the rear fascia. I attached a picture that shows what needs to be trimmed as well. Your hands free lift gate will still function just fine but you may have to kick to either side of the hitch instead.
For trailer wiring the best option would be the ZCI kit part # 119250KIT as it installs without requiring you to splice into the wiring of the vehicle taillights at all. I attached an install video for this kit on a similar 2017 X5 as well.
