Can D-Ring of Trailer Attach to Wood Floor For Transporting Dirt Bikes
Question:
Hi - just purchased a used trailer at a good price. Its a 2013 Lark 7x14 double tandem enclosed trailer. Overall its in good shape but Id like to replace the interior wood. Would it deteriorate the integrity of the frame if I drilled all new holes when installing the plywood? Also, when installing d-rings, it is standard to attach them to the frame? Looking to tie down dirt bikes. Thanks

You'd be totally fine to drill new holes in the frame of your trailer to install new plywood. The holes you'd be drilling wouldn't be big enough to make a difference at all.
For securing dirt bikes you could attach the d-rings to the plywood if you wanted to but I would go with a setup that has a backing plate like the Brophy D-Ring part # RR5K since the backing plate allows you to spread out the weight a bit more. We also have motorcycle wheel chocks too with the part # TWSPWM which can attach to the plywood as well.
I attached review videos for both of these for you to check out as well.
