Is Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System Better At Combating Sway Then Blue Ox

equal -i zer vs blue ox. Pro / cons? i figure the ox is quieter with no metal on metal rubbing

Sam, both the Blue Ox SwayPro part # BXW1000 and Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control part # EQ37100ET are great options. The Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control can be loud like you mentioned because of it's friction sway control however it is going to provide a much better towing experience than the Blue Ox because of it's 4 point friction contact. The 4 point friction sway control helps to keep the trailer in line to combat sway. The Blue Ox is a 4 points of contact but it will not do as good of a job at keeping the trailer in line as the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System. If you keep the Equal-i-zer properly lubricated with Equal-i-zer High-Performance Lubricant part # EQ91-00-4250 it will really cut down on the noise and you will be happier in the long run with better sway control. Almost any weight distribution system is going to make noise though.
